Fela Durotoye
Fela Durotoye is one of Nigeria’s leading business and leadership strategists. With more than 20 years of experience serving as a consultant for governmental agencies and major corporations in the banking, oil and gas, telecommunications, and manufacturing industries, he has established expertise in culture transformation, service leadership, and workforce activation.

CEO of Gemstone Group
He is also the CEO of the Gemstone Group, a leadership development institution, raising leaders who are committed to building Nigeria into a most desirable nation to live in by the 31st of December 2025. Through its various divisions, the group engages with transformational leaders across 300 primary and secondary schools, 70 university campuses, and various NYSC outlets, enabling them to implement community transformation projects across the country. A leadership coach certified by the John Maxwell Team, Fela currently mentors more than 15,000 leaders in business, enterprise, education, religion, and the professional services sectors. He also sits on the board of several companies across the spectrum of Nigeria’s economic space.

Education
Fela is an alumnus of the Kennedy School of Government Executive Education program at Harvard University. He has also completed leadership, governance, and public service training at the Lagos Business School; Yale University; The Leadership Institute, Arlington, Virginia; and the Nigerian Police Training School, Ikeja. Fela also serves as a guest lecturer on Ethical Leadership at the Stanford University Seed Program, where he speaks to business leaders with operations across Africa. He is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, where he received his MBA and B.Sc in Computer Science and Economics.
Presidential candidate
In February 2018, Fela announced his aspiration to contest as a presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections on the platform of the Alliance For New Nigeria (ANN) party.

Married Life
Fela is married to Tara, a renowned beauty entrepreneur and CEO of House of Tara. They are the proud parents of three boys.
